I was taken to this point bar/restaurant by my dear cousin and his wife, his lovely wife, I ordered the steak special strip steak, and my cousin ordered a big old kettle of clams middle neck. I explained to my cousin when he asked me if I wanted one that I never liked just plain clams steam clams because they were always chewy. He said oh these are really good, so I said I haven’t had them in years and I tried it and it was the best clams I ever had. I definitely would take the ride. It’s worth the trip to come back here just to eat these clams I let my cousin know that and he said well, please hit us up if you ever in this area again if you decide to come here, that’s a long way to drive for clams I explained to him I would drive that far for food that good

The food was really good and fresh. I had a cheesesteak sandwich, my wife had buffalo chicken sandwiche with fries. The buns on the food were fresh, the fries were freshly cut from potatoes (homemade). The place looks dated, but its really clean. If you'd like a good trip through contemporary American, family owned rural restaurants, this would be a great choice. Even as a quick stop for some fresh food, also a great choice.

kneppers is a diamond. my friends and i were intending on going to thunderhead lodge but they were closed. so we tried here and were not disappointed. the wings are FANTASTIC. pricing is fair and atmosphere is great.
My husband and I came here today and we were so impressed! Our sever, Mary, was very friendly and attentive. The scallops were incredible! Definitely will be back again. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home and welcomed!
